Senior Analyst, Interface Management

 

Reporting To: Head of Development Planning Section

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

 

Key Objectives And Principal Accountabilities

Essential Requirement:

  • Support the Head of Development Planning Section in negotiations, reviewing, drafting, and finalizing operational agreement contracts.
  • Responsible for key operational agreements including but not limited to Power purchase agreement, Land Sublease Agreement, water supply agreement, common facilities agreement, Sulphur Sale Agreement, Right of Ways, Crossing Agreement, Construction and Tie-In Agreement (CTIA), Land Use Agreement (LUA) etc.
  • Effectively manage and ensure the implementation and compliance of the established operational and commercial contracts.
  • Coordinate meetings related to interfaces and key operational agreements, both internally and externally, to initiate discussions and formalize settlements for both commercial and technical support.

General Requirement:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders including but not limited to Joint Venture Partners (JVPs), PETRONAS, local government bodies, communities, and business partners. This fosters a harmonious and smooth project planning and development.
  • Develop and maintain networking with customers (crude and gas buyers), end users e.g., power plant and refineries.

 

Working Relationship

  • Project Team: Collaborate closely with the Project Execution Team as well as other relevant departments within the Company, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of project objectives.
  • PETRONAS, PETRONAS Carigali and KUFPEC: Maintain effective working relationships with PETRONAS, PETRONAS Carigali, and KUPFEC, who are the key stakeholders in the Project. Collaborate on development studies, share project updates, and ensure alignment with their requirements and expectations.
  • Other Authoritative Bodies: Liaise and cooperate with relevant authoritative bodies, such as regulatory agencies and government entities.
  • Other potential customers and partners: Engage and establish relationships with potential customers and partners who may involve in the Project. Collaborate on development planning, explore opportunities for partnerships, and negotiate agreements to maximize project outcome.

Qualification And Experience

Mandatory:

  • Minimum of 10 yearsexperience in the upstream Oil & Gas industry.
  • Experiences with operational agreements for instance Power purchase agreement, Land Sublease Agreement, water supply agreement, common facilities agreement, Sulphur Sale Agreement, Right of Ways, Pipeline Crossing Agreement, Construction and Tie-In Agreement (CTIA), Land Use Agreement (LUA) etc.
  • Strong teamwork, communications, and leadership skills.
  • University degree (or similar qualification) in Engineering, or related fields of study.
  • Experiences with major oil and gas projects.
  • Experiences in negotiating oil and gas contracts.
  • Fluent in oral & written English.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with the Malaysian upstream oil & gas industry.
  • Working knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
