IT Operation Manager

Key Objectives:

The person will be managing the day-to-day IT operations in Department, that includes ensuring the availability and reliability of the infrastructure, systems and network, managing the technology vendors and maintaining the IT policies, process and procedures.

Principle Accountabilities:

Before operationalization:

• Oversee and facilitate the requirements gathering, configuration and setup of the cloud infrastructure by the CSP
• Advise on the configuration required for the Cloud setup
• Develop the scope of work of IT outsourcing RFP
• Develop the IT policy, process and procedures for Department
• Assist with all the IT procurement process, especially in determining the scope of work and SLA and be part of the evaluation process
• Conduct the operational readiness test on the cloud infrastructure
• Assist the system development team in providing any infrastructure support and migration needs
• Setup the IT service desk for Department.

After operationalization: 

• Manage the day-to-day operations and ensuring that systems and networks are running smoothly.
• Manage the technology vendors and the outsourced service providers to ensure SLAs are met and the organization's technology needs are met.
• Monitor the system performance and provide recommend for improvements
• Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via the IT service desk

Requirement:

• Technical proficiency and knowledge of cloud IT infrastructure, networks, and systems to effectively manage and troubleshoot issues.
